Tarini Manchanda
About
Tarini holds a liberal arts degree in Environmental Policy from Colby College, USA and a Masters in Sociology and Anthropology from South Asian University, Delhi.
She works on independent and ethnographic films related to resource politics, extractivism and indigenous cultures. Tarini follows the unequal impacts of climate change and development in South Asia, she is currently doing ethnographic research in Nagaland, Northeast India. While her films have been screened at the CMS Environmental Film Festival, PSBT festival, Fingerlakes Festival, Scarborough Museum and across schools and colleges in Delhi, she prefers to engage with communities directly impacted by the concerns her stories address.
